RAM Approved for Health Insurance Buying Cooperative
The Division of Insurance announced on January 3, 2011 that RAM has been approved as one of the six group purchasing cooperatives authorized by law to negotiate with insurance carriers in order to obtain health insurance for its small business members. RAM will continue to work with insurers to create a health insurance plan specifically tailored to our membership and which we expect we will be ready to roll out to our members by April 1. We will continue to update you with progress on this new cost saving member benefit.
